It has been 3 weeks since I safely arrived in Vancouver on my 4300+km solo cross country road trip from Toronto. I permanently relocated to Vancouver on June 1st and have been really busy settling in and getting life here organized. Vancouver has simply exceeded my expectations. I hope to meet lots of great people and express my excitement through my design, photography and illustration work. The picture is one room of our condo to help explain why I have been seemingly absent. As things settle, my frequency of posts will increase. Thanks for visiting!

Early tomorrow morning (May 29th) marks my last day in Toronto and the beginning of my ambitious solo road trip from Toronto to Vancouver for our permanent relocation. Instead of having the car shipped to Vancouver, I thought it would be a great experience and a lot of fun to drive cross country on my own. It will be long days of driving but the scenery and anticipation keeps you pumped (alongside pounds of caffeine). I did this trip last summer with Sandra so I am confident in the route. Below are some shots from that trip.

The timing is right, the location is ideal and I couldn’t be more excited. Sandra and I have decided to relocate to Vancouver from Toronto to really start our lives from scratch. We want to focus on the things we love most and Vancouver is an ideal city for achieving our goals. I feel this is an appropriate way for me to start the next chapter of my life. I will miss Ontario and all those who have supported us over the years, thank you for all you have done. See you June 1st Vancouver, I look forward meeting you! Welcome my new website. The purpose of this is pretty straight forward, a place for me to post my latest explorations with photography, all types of graphic design as well as art. I am hoping to use this as a jumping point to really accelerate the frequency of my submissions. The main change about this site over previous ones is the ability for you, the user, to critique the images and provide me with the vital feedback I am looking for to help improve. Please note the site is still buggy. I will squash them all (except in IE6, you have ruined the web long enough).
