This is a shot Sandra and I took while practicing some light techniques. In my opinion our kitchen is full of life in a tacky way so I thought it would be fun to try to capture the essence of that tackiness. The kitchen is a result of years of various styles from a number of tenants, the awkward lime greens with the cheap, ruined counter-tops look great in contrast to the beautiful machined knives, mixer and jars. I really like how the light turned out and what it does for this image. Sandra took the photo however I planned the composition and edited it.
